about

Devin Vibert London, Ontario

When Devin was eleven he wrote a twelve-minute orchestral epic about the imaginary adventures his cat Ashes went on when he wasn't around.

It wasn't the best subject matter, but it got the ball rolling.

Devin is the musical director for Silverstring Media, working out of his project studio in London, Ontario. He is constantly trying to one-up his own creations with new, bolder musical feats.

Track Name: Singularity
Gravity, gravity, gravity
It's impressive what you do
Stronger than the strongest bull

Gravity, gravity, gravity
Takes two to see your brawn
Though I try to run away
You're never really gone

But when I manage it
When I manage to break free
The universe
The universe and all it's bunk will bend to me

Talk to me, talk to me, talk to me
I've fallen in this well
From your view I'm always falling

Gravity, gravity, gravity
The colours shift to red
Now I know I can't escape
There's nothing left ahead

But if I had a choice
If I had a chance to choose
Between the work or perfect life
I'd take the second and refuse

Gravity, gravity, gravity
Track Name: Circles
It's turtles all the way down we say
It's turtles all the way down we say

You have a feeling you're meant to be somewhere
But never worry, you've already been there
I have a sneaking suspicion I'm to blame
We were an epic paradox, you've never been the same
But I never meant to hurt you

But if I turned back time you'd still get hurt
If I turned it back then I would never need to turn it back
Suffice it all to say that what has happened here
Is locked back in the past
So take cold comfort in what the universe's dice have cast

It's turtles all the way down we say
When we run out of reasons why they world's this way
The universe is empty save for all the people we can see
But where the skies are void of truth we fill them with morality
And still we all desert you

But if I turned back time you'd still get hurt
If I turned it back then I would never need to turn it back
Suffice it all to say that what has happened here
Is locked back in the past
So take cold comfort in what the universe's dice have cast
